for Children, Adolescents and Adults Psychological and neuropsychological testing for children, adolescents and adults is offered at Trinity Center, This type of testing provides information on brain functioning, motor skills and cognitive processing. These tests provide several advantages for children and adolescents. It assesses how the child learns from the perspective of how his/her brain works. It also determines the type of learning disorder a child may be dealing with, including ADD, ADHD or seizures. The results from these tests can be used to identify the type of medication a child might need. The results can also be used to develop individual education plans to help them better succeed in school. Testing of this nature benefits two types of adult clients; those with neurological disorders such as stroke or multiple sclerosis and older adults suffering from memory loss. The test results can benefit family members who are trying to determine the appropriate level of care needed for the individual. |
