Insurance & Payment
We are in-network providers for Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance (CBHA), Aetna, and most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, with the exceptions of Blue Value and Blue Local. Most Trinity Center providers are now in-network with traditional Medicare and both Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage plans. We are non-network certified providers with Tricare East, which means we can typically work with Tricare East insurance; however, we are not considered in-network.
You are responsible for checking your insurance benefits prior to your initial appointment at Trinity Center and for keeping your insurance information up to date. Click here for information on checking your in-network benefits prior to your initial appointment.
For other insurance companies, we are an out-of-network provider. For these plans, we can provide you with a summary statement for filing a claim with your insurance company. We regret that we are unable to accept Medicaid plans.

Trinity Center Services

Counseling and Psychological Services
Our counselors and psychologists work with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, grief and loss, adjustment, life transitions, relationship issues, family of origin issues and identity concerns. Our goal is to help people address their individual concerns so that they can live full, engaged lives.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is a path to awareness of how we make meaning in our lives. How do our choices and the influences that shape them, conscious and unconscious, define our personhood and our ultimate concern in life? The goal of this lifelong journey is to realize the fullness of what it means to be human, in light of our relationship to the Divine. Spiritual direction provides individualized guidance on this vital pilgrimage of awakening.
Good Faith Estimate Notice to Clients and Prospective Clients
The No Surprises Act gives you the legal right to a “Good Faith Estimate” for the expected cost of services you may receive at Trinity Center. This Good Faith Estimate is not a contract for services, and you are not obligated to schedule or receive any services. This Good Faith Estimate does not include unforeseeable or unexpected costs that may arise. Your costs may be higher if complications or special circumstances result in you receiving additional services. The estimate does not include any charges you might incur for late cancellations or missed appointments, nor does it include any services outside of Trinity Center that your provider might recommend.
At Trinity Center, the out of pocket/out of network cost is $200 for an initial intake appointment for individual or group therapy. Additional individual sessions are $185 each. It is up to you how frequently you meet for individual sessions and how many sessions you have. The course of treatment is generally weekly or every other week as needed. The cost for group sessions is $70 per session, and groups typically meet weekly. Please note if you are using in-network insurance, participating in our financial aid program, or have arrangements with a third party payer, the rate you pay may be lower.
If your bill exceeds your Good Faith Estimate, you may contact Trinity Center. You may ask for your bill to match your Good Faith Estimate, negotiate a lower cost, or request financial assistance. You also have the right to start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) if your bill exceeds your current estimate by $400 or more. If you choose to dispute a bill, you must begin the process within 120 days of the date on the original bill. HHS charges $25 per dispute. If HHS agrees with your dispute, you have to pay the amount on this Good Faith Estimate. If HHS disagrees with you, you will have to pay the higher amount. Trinity Center will not compromise the quality of your care if you utilize HHS’ dispute resolution process. To learn more or to begin a dispute, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises, or call (800) 985-3059.
