Openness

We are dedicated to creating a warm, peaceful and comfortable environment where all people are welcomed, respected and valued.

We recognize and affirm that individuals have multiple, intersecting identities including race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion and spirituality, socioeconomic status, age, body shape and size, ability and point of view. We trust our clients to tell us who they are.

We honor each person’s individual journey with compassion and sensitivity. We welcome people of all spiritual and faith perspectives, people who do not identify with religion or spirituality, people who are searching and people whose beliefs are changing or uncertain.

Hope

We actively maintain hope for people, and we offer that hope to each person who comes here. We believe that people can feel better and live fully as themselves by experiencing their own value and worth, healing from the past, facing and working through challenges, developing healthy ways of coping, and connecting to their meaning and purpose. We have hope because we see this approach make a difference in people’s lives.

Faith

We recognize and value the spiritual dimension of life and honor the whole person in mind, body and spirit. We also have faith and confidence in our clients, and we believe that each person can define their life journey and meaning for themselves. Our work is to provide space for people to explore their journey and help facilitate growth and connection to purpose as defined by our clients. It is always up to each client whether or not to incorporate faith and spirituality into the work they do here.

Increased Access to Care

We believe that all people, regardless of financial circumstances, should have access to excellent care. We are committed to increasing access to care by providing financial assistance to clients who cannot otherwise afford services, in balance with operating a healthy and sustainable non-profit.

We work as a team of dedicated, thoughtful and skilled staff members who respect, trust and value each other. We are committed to excellence in our fields and to our own personal, professional and spiritual growth. We work collaboratively with one another to offer clients the best care we can.

 

Our Board of Directors governs and makes decisions based on the same compassion and openness that is the hallmark of Trinity Center. The Board operates using judicious fiscal policy and sound management principles to ensure an environment where staff can serve community members successfully and realize the mission of Trinity Center.
